About Warsaw IT Days

WDI is a conference with a rich agenda consisting of as many as several hundred speeches, as well as an ongoing parallel largest IT and data science job fair. This year we are meeting for the 15th time to share knowledge in issues covering almost the entire IT area.

Who is the organiser of the event?

For more then 10 years we have been not only the organiser but also the initiator of many significant events aimed at IT / data science professionals and students. 1. Who is the Warsaw IT Days event addressed to?

Due to the very broad topic, the event is addressed to anyone related to or interested in the IT and Data Science industry. You will find topics at the conference in the field of: SysOps, DevOps, Infrastructure & Cloud, SysOps, DevOps, Infrastructure & Cloud, Programming, IT Security, Hardware / IoT, Gamedev / VR & AR, UX / UI, Business Analysis, Testing and Technology Trends and IT careers in general.

2. What are the elements of an event?

The Warsaw IT Days are primarily a large-scale conference in the area of IT and Data Science. The conference is also accompanied by a number of other elements and attractions, including: IT Job Fair, Women in IT Days & Expo, competitions and an evening networking meeting - afterparty.

3. What is the format of the event in 2024 (online, stationary)?

During the 2024 edition, WDI will have both stationary and online formats. On the first day, the conference and Expo will be held online, in the participant's dedicated account platform. The second day will be held on-site in the center of Warsaw - at PGE Narodowy. There you will also be able to listen to all the performances from the onsite and visit the stands of stationary exhibitors. The elements of the event, including individual online and onsite presentations, are completely independent and separate from each other. Onsite content are not available to online participants and vice versa. Only participants of online + onsite packages receive access to the entire event.

4. What if, for any reason, the event cannot be held in-person?

In such a case, the stationary part of the event will take place at another date or online - for which, if necessary, we are fully ready.

5. What types of speeches are included in the event Agenda?
    Participants of the Warsaw IT Days 2024 receive access to the following types of speeches:
  • ⚬ Presentations broadcast live (online part),
  • ⚬ Presentations in the form of specially prepared recordings available as VoD (online part),
  • ⚬ Stationary presentations (onsite part)
  • Additionally, participants of higher packages receive access to the VoD library of recordings of speeches from the previous edition of the Warsaw IT Days 2023.
6. How can I know in what form individual speeches will be presented?

In the Agenda, next to each lecture, there is information in what form it is presented - Online Live, Online VoD or stationary (in this case, the room number). Moreover, next to each path there is information about the form in which it is implemented.

7. What language are the lectures in?

Lectures are conducted in Polish or English. Information about the language of individual speeches is available in the Agenda.

8. Will the live presentations be recorded and available after the conference?

All performances of the online part broadcast live and performances of selected tracks of the onsite part will be recorded. Recordings of live performances, just like all of them recordings made available in the VoD model will be available for viewing in the participant's account after logging in.

Free package - no access to recordings
VoD package - 3-month access to recordings of the online part of the speeches, and for an additional fee also the stationary part
Standard and PRO packages - 3-month access to all recordings without restrictions

9. When will recordings of live speeches be made available?

We usually make recordings available 2-4 weeks after the conference. We always inform you about this by e-mail.

10. Until when will recordings of the speeches be available?

Access to all VoD presentations and recordings of speeches that were presented live is available for 3 months from the date of publication of these recordings.

11. How can I ask questions to the speakers?

In the case of speeches broadcast live online, it will be possible to ask questions to the speakers in a live chat. In the case of VoD speeches – in the z section comments under the lecture recording. During the stationary part, after each lecture, we have prepared a round tables session where you will be able to ask questions and talk directly with the speaker after his speech.

12. How can I rate speeches?
Each lecture can be assessed after logging in to the participant's account, in the Agenda tab. Your opinion is very important to us and the speakers, so we will be very grateful if you share it with us.
13. Until when can I register?

You can register until the day of the event or until places are filled (the number of tickets in individual pools and packages, both for the online and onsite part, is strictly limited).

14. Can I buy access to VoD after the event?

Yes, it is possible to purchase packages giving access to VoD recordings after the event date. However, these packages do not include gift bags and other benefits offered to participants during the event, and the time limit for access to VoD recordings is 3 months from the date of the event/publication of the recordings, not from the date of purchase.

15. How can I buy more than 1 package?

When registering, select the "I am purchasing for several people" option and then select the appropriate number of packages (one package for one person). After paying for the order, you will receive invitation codes, which should then be given to the people for whom the tickets are to be intended.

Each event participant must create an individual user account - only in this way will they receive access to the platform where the online part of the event takes place will be able to download a personal invitation entitling him to enter the stationary part. To create an account, you must complete the registration process by providing the following information in the first step invitation code received from the person who paid for the ticket. After entering the code from the invitation, the price of the appropriate package will be reduced and the person will be able to create an account in the selected package at no cost.

16. How can I use a discount code/invitation code from a group purchase?

The discount code can be used when registering on the website https://warszawskiedniinformatyki.pl/registration.html . On the first step of registration, at the bottom of the page, select the "I have an invitation code" option, then enter and confirm the code. After confirming the code, the prices of the packages it applies to the code will be reduced accordingly.

17. Can I receive a proforma or deferred invoice?

It is possible to issue an invoice with a deferred payment date. After placing your order and completing your registration, please send an email to the following address {{ contactInfo.participantContact.email }}. Since this service is completely manual, a handling fee of PLN 49 is charged.

18. Can I receive an invoice for the purchase of tickets and additional options?

For each order, a personal invoice is issued for a natural person. If you wish to receive a VAT invoice issued for an entity running a business, business, instead of a personal account, the user is obliged to select the "I am purchasing for a company" option and provide the NIP number when registering for the event.

The sales offer for natural persons may differ from the offer for business entities.

The title on the sales document (regardless of the selected options) is "Participation in the Warsaw IT Days conference". If you need to put additional annotations on sales document, during registration you will find a field to enter them.

19. How can I collect a T-shirt/sweatshirt (included in the package or purchased as an additional option)?

T-shirts and sweatshirts, both included in the package and purchased as an additional option, can be picked up at the stationary event.
If personal collection is not possible during the event, in exceptional cases we provide the possibility of collecting the T-shirt/sweatshirt at another time, at place indicated by the Organizer in Warsaw.

20. Where is the event taking place?

The stationary part of the event will take place in the center of Warsaw, at the PGE Narodowy Conference Center, al. Fr. Józefa Poniatowskiego 1 (entrance / entry through gate no. 1 from al. Zieleniecka, public, underground parking available for a fee).
The organizer reserves the right to change the location of the event for reasons beyond his control.
All online elements of the event (access to live broadcasts, VoD recordings, live chat, virtual exhibition hall of the IT Job Exchange and Women in IT Expo) will be available to logged in users on a dedicated platform.

21. What times does the event take place?

The exact hours of the event are available in the Agenda.

22. Is lunch available for attendees during the in-person event?

For participants with a PRO ticket, lunch is available as part of the selected conference package. Participants of other packages can purchase lunch as an option additional.

23. Can I receive a certificate for participating in the event?

Yes, each conference participant receives a personal certificate confirming participation in the event. The certificate will be available for download after the event in the Participant's Account.

24. Can I enter the IT Job Fair and Women in IT Expo without registration?

No, to enter the Expo you must register and download a free entry ticket (Expo package available at the Registration). During the stationary part of the event, tickets are checked they are at the entrance. In turn, to take part online, you must have an active account, which you will create by registering.

25. How can I contact exhibitors?
You can contact exhibitors, among others: via:

  • ⚬ conversation in the online chat that you will find at the virtual stand,
  • ⚬ sending any message via the contact form on the virtual stand.

  • ⚬ conversation during the afterparty (participation only for participants with selected packages), where most of the exhibitors' representatives are usually present ;).
Participation in the Expo is, as always, completely free of charge.
26. Where can I find exhibitor stands?

Exhibitors' stands will be located in the corridor next to the presentation rooms and available online (access after logging in to the User Account).

27. Who can attend the afterparty?

Participants of selected packages, Exhibitors and Speakers of the event can take part in the afterparty.

28. Where will the afterparty take place?
An invitation with an afterparty location will be sent to eligible people closer to the event date. The afterparty takes place in the center of Warsaw.
29. What is Matchmaking?

Matchmaking is a functionality dedicated to Event Participants and Partners aimed at enabling contacts, exchanging messages and arranging meetings. between users using it. It is available on the official event platform for logged in users with appropriate permissions.

30. How can I use Matchmaking?
To use Matchmaking, you must have the appropriate permissions and create your Public Profile, which will be available to other users.
⚬ Participants Free package, they can create a Public Profile and be invited to establish contact, but they cannot search for other Profiles and actively invite people to contact them. contact.
⚬ Participants of VoD, Standard and PRO packages can take full advantage of Matchmaking - create a Public Profile, be invited to make contact, browse the Profiles of other users and invite them to contact you.

Once contact is made, users are given the opportunity to guide individual chat with each other.
31. What is a Public Profile, how can I create it and who will be able to see it?

Public Profile is your business card, based on which other users will be able to decide whether they want to contact you. You can create it during registration or after logging in to the Participant's Account on the event platform. It will only be visible to logged in users who also use Matchmaking and created their own Public Profile.

32. Who is the organizer of the event?

The event is organized by the Organizing Committee, which includes numerous organizations and entities related to the IT and Data Science industries. Leading body i the formal main organizer is the Academic Partners Foundation.
